About us
We provide personalized and evidence-based speech and language services
Here at Vibrant Language Clinic we understand the importance and impact of developing an individual's speech, language and communication skills.
We provide quality, evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming speech and language care centering the clients’ and their families’ needs. We understand the impacts that speech and language difficulties can have on a person and on their support system so we’re here to provide useful strategies and recommendations to help clients reach their full potential. Evaluation and intervention services are comprehensive and personalized so that clients feel supported through every step of the process. We value advocacy, openness and flexibility to help our clients become the most confident learners and communicators that they can be.
Founder
Founded by Olivia Rotondo, Vibrant Language Clinic was created to provide much-needed services to East-End families that focus on providing personalized evaluation and intervention sessions based on a whole understanding of the client rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Having grown up in the East-End of Montreal all her life, Olivia has volunteered and worked as a tutor, camp animator and camp coordinator, throughout the years. Through these roles, she has seen firsthand the importance of having access to quality services close to home.
Olivia (she/her/elle) graduated from McGill’s School of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2022. She is a bilingual clinician who possesses diverse clinical experience providing services to children, adolescents and young adults. She is passionate about providing her clients with the tools to express themselves fully, feel confident as competent learners and communicate with the world around them in whatever modality is most accessible to them.
Her primary areas of expertise include early language stimulation, developmental language disorder, early literacy, difficulties with reading and writing development, childhood apraxia of speech and articulation and phonological disorders. With a particular interest for language and reading and writing development, her approach prioritizes collaborating with her clients and their families to create meaningful connections and functional goals. Every session is planned and personalized with an individual’s interests in mind to create highly engaging and supportive meetings that transform areas of difficulty into meaningful opportunities for growth. By thoughtfully integrating each client’s executive functioning and sensory needs, she provides a holistic approach to speech and language therapy—one that goes beyond rote practice to foster genuine learning, confidence, and lasting progress. Her experience working in a French public high school has also provided her with a deep understanding of the Quebec school system and the ways in which Speech and Language Pathologists can advocate for their clients’ educational needs, beyond the private practice setting. She currently offers services in both English and French, working primarily with children and adolescents.
She is a licensed member of the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ).
Why "Vibrant Language"?
The word vibrant brings to mind vividness, richness and depth – it’s about the moments that stay with you, like finishing a really good book, watching a fantastic movie or having an authentic conversation with someone you love. At the heart of all of these experiences is connection.
At Vibrant Language Clinic, the idea of meaningful connections is the driving force for everything we do. Here, we believe that communication is more than spoken words – it’s how we express ourselves, understand others, and engage with the world around us.
Our approach to assessment and intervention is rooted in this belief: that every individual deserves meaningful, effective ways to connect – with themselves and with their loved ones. Speech and language, in all their vibrant forms, are powerful tools for building those connections, and supporting these processes is at the heart of our work.
Inclusive
At Vibrant Language Clinic, individual and learning differences are embraced and valued. We see difficulties as something to support rather than something to fix.
